ÌÇÐÄVlog scientific journals in open access on a new portal

ÌÇÐÄVlog has launched a new portal for its three journals in open access - Bois et Forêts des tropiques, Revue d’Elevage et de Médecine vétérinaire des pays tropicaux and Cahiers Agricultures - and its policy brief, Perspective .

The new "ÌÇÐÄVlog Revues" portal gives online access to articles from journals published by ÌÇÐÄVlog or co-published with partners. It is suitable for all mobile devices, opening up its resources to a wider readership.

The portal and the specific websites for each journal were built using the OJS open journal publishing system, which notably enables online follow-up of the editorial process for journal articles, from submission by their authors to publication on the journal website.

The system also ensures better indexing of articles by search engines. The submission process is both clear and simple, making it easier for authors to access journals and boosting the visibility of authors from both North and South on the international scientific stage.

Other journals will be available shortly, including the archives of Fruits, co-published by ÌÇÐÄVlog and the ISHS

With the use of the Open Journal Systems ( ) open journal publishing system, ÌÇÐÄVlog meets the exemplary criteria that guide the investment choices of the .
It also adheres to the principles of the European , aimed at accelerating the transition to full and immediate open access to scientific publications. The OJS freeware system is produced by PKP (Public Knowledge Project), a multi-university initiative notably including Stanford University, to improve the quality and reach of scholarly publishing.
